Work abroad help

I am looking for a legitimate and organised company that organises work abroad schemes for gap year type young people. Specifically farming or other animal related work in New Zealand please. Does anyone have any recommendations? I feel like there might be loads of bad companies out there. I want to avoid.

Willing Workers On Organic Farms has a long established good reputation but I think I'm right in saying that it's volunteering, which isn't what you're looking for? Known as WOOF.

Yeah want paid please. Not necessarily highly paid but not volunteering. Enough to get by whilst there

Thank you. Is this a good company that you or friends have had experience of? Do they have a good reputation?

Bunac and camp America are very well established.
I did it 35 years ago! You get your flights paid and some cash for travelling afterwards.
I'm already advising my teens to do it!

The thing with bunac that confuses me is it seems you pay for a package which includes various thing including some level of assistance in finding work once you are down there. Surely it's better to have the work all lined up before you arrive in the country?

Both my DDs worked abroad through BUNAC for a summer. You apply and there is an element you need to pay. You then get access to jobs which you apply for. You can't go out without a work placement agreed and you get paid while you are working. My DDs both worked in the US so I am unsure of NZ.
