Hi, on the Wordle thread a few folk said they do Connections so thought I'd start a thread.

And I did manage to get a perfect score today so it was a good day to start....

It's a bit mixed - some days the connections are very tenuous, and also sometimes very US-relevant, like baseball teams, so can be frustrating. I like doing it in competition with the kids.

Thanks @EarringsandLipstick it sounds a bit like Only Connect then. You can make anything connect if you think long and hard enough

I’m still quite cross that they have stolen this from Only Connect, and given no credit (or money) to the original creators. At least they paid for Wordle.

puzzgrid has a web page with lots of these free every day (and they acknowledge Only Connect properly).

Ironically I found this when Victoria Coren Mitchell complained about it on Twitter! I stopped for a while as there was a run I’d really niche American connections but enjoyed today’s. Made me laugh.

@Stokey cemantle and Pedantle are worth a go. They can be very frustrating. I will have to try Framed, Flagle and Metrodle . This could become a full time occupation 😄
