Lost my sh@t at work this morning at it was only 9.20am

Oh dear. It didn’t go well. Was on the receiving end of people insinuating that I had lied about some work tasks. It’s was totally untrue but god it’s not a good start to a Monday morning. Mostly been resolved now. Anyone else had a bad start to the day?

Yep, massive arguement with my husband at 7 this morning. I think it maybe break time for our marriage.

I've got the week off work, so no chance of losing it there for a few days!

Yep - was invited to apply for a more senior position as my 12-month contract is about to end. Dithered about it, finally asked if I could go ahead and apply only to find that they don't need that position anymore!

Just as well I didn't apply earlier, I would have been made redundant almost straight away.

Yup. Unwell pet, big issues at home, medical appt for a repeat procedure that didnt go well last time. Had my blood pressure taken at medical appt. Despite really working on lowering it lately, it was through the roof. I did comment I was having a stressful morning but that was the cherry on the top of the cake.
Hopefully the day / week picks up for all of us.

I had to rein myself in when someone chased me about an email they hadn't received a reply to.

They sent it at 5.45pm Friday and chased me at 10am Monday pointing out they'd been waiting 2 days, they were very rude in the way they pointed this out.

My first 3 attempts at typing a reply had to be deleted but you can be damn sure I pointed out that no they had not been waiting 2 days, they had been waiting 1 hour because they sent it after hours and there was no obligation for me to check for and reply to emails over the weekend.

Fucking passed out at work this morning so bloody embarrassing. Hope your day gets better OP.

Off work with poorly DC who is undergoing tests as to why they’re consistently unwell, to be told by multiple different nice colleagues that lazy, awful colleague rolled eyes on hearing I wasn’t in today. Yes, because having a worrying poorly child is a choice to skip out on work 😤
