How much would you pay for bulbs? 🌷🌻

I am in charge of a fundraising activity for a primary school. I'm terrible at pricing

We are going to sell flower bulbs.

How much do you think would be a reasonable price for an assortment of 10 bulbs?

They are costing me 50p for ten.

All profits go to the school

£1 for 10
£2 for 10?

Personally, I would double those figures, and they'd still sell.

Which bulbs? I'd check your local garden centre and maybe a big site like Farmer Gracy, and price accordingly.

FWIW, the nursery where I work does narcissus and tulips at 10 for £3, and crocuses/iris reticulata at 10 for 1.60. Your prices look fairly cheap.

They are a mix of tulips, crocus, allium, hyacinth, daffodils.

Great, I'll think about upping it a bit! I think what's thrown me is that the school is next to a homebargains where everything is cheap! But I also suppose people don't mind paying over thr odds when it's a school 🤷‍♀️

£2.50 for a mixed bag of ten? Or £5 for a bag of 25? Feels like a deal then!

Good idea! 👍
