What would you think if someone's DP did this?

If someone told you their DP used their phone to send messages to people without declaring it was him writing them, what would you say to that person?

Yeah hard no. This is abusive controlling and shitty behaviour.

I’d think the DP is a dick - if he’s doing it to be funny, it’s childish and annoying, if he’s doing it to stop her responding, it’s controlling and abusive.

I’d wonder why the friend allows it and probably ask her why she doesn’t stop him, is she scared?

Responding to what though?? For example, It could be either of these:

a normal text conversation but the partner is controlling and wants to answer FOR their partner

or

an abusive text conversation where the partner wants to give someone a round of fucks on BEHALF of their partner.

both a bit weird, but in either case why is your ‘friend’ LETTING their partner do that?

its not hard to elaborate on an anonymous forum, context is everything.
