Recommend me a tumble dryer that doesn't take ages to dry a load

I've never had a tumble dryer but with the kids getting older I can't keep on top of the washing with just my heated airer. We are looking to buy either a condenser or heat pump one as we can't vent, but I want one that takes no more than 2 hours to do a load of towels or bedding.

Tell me what you have and why you love it.

We’ve just bought a heat pump tumble drier but as they are more energy efficient they all have longer cycle times due to recycling the air. If you want shorter cycles condensers are shorter but use more energy
ours is a Beko heat pump tumble drier, does general clothes in 1hr 45 but not tried bedding yet! X

My condenser does a load in way less than an hour. Thetrck is to stop after half an hour and shake the clothes till not hot anymore then put on again

we have a condensor dryer, Electra, it’s excellent

we don’t use it daily but wouldn’t want to be without it

large kingsize cotton duvet cover will take 50mins
on Cotton ‘iron dry’
60mins ‘cupboard dry’ from a double spin
towels the same, as they are not thick heavy ones

double spin the washer and don’t overload the dryer
empty filter and water container after every use
do not leave the house with the dryer still on

there are many sites online offering reviews also ‘Which’

compare drum sizes if you have a large amount to dry
in one load

launderette dryers are really efficient, should you
feel overwhelmed
the attendants do serviced dryers, remove and fold,
gets it all done, out of the way
