Is there anything like an energy friendly heater?

I'm wondering if there's anything like an energy friendly heater?
I googled and apparently there is but does anyone here have any experience of them?

Urgh. Following with interest. I'm often tempted by this type Russell Hobbs RHPH2001 500W Ceramic Plug Heater, Adjustable thermostat, 12 Hour Timer & LED Display, 2 Fan Speeds, 2 Year Guarantee , White https://amzn.eu/d/5tM5LZz but all it takes is one bad review and I start wondering if they'd be a waste of money. I use an oil filled plug in radiator just now to top up as my heating is storage heaters on a timer.
