Anxiety about work

Just looking for some reassuring ears really. I get flair ups of bad work anxiety and am really going through it this weekend.

I convince myself I have made the wrong decisions in work and start to catastrophise in my head. I work in a healthcare field so it’s important I don’t mess up which makes it harder.

anyone go through similar and have any tips. I can’t concentrate or relax

Following and if it's any consolation I've felt sick all weekend

Also following. I'm due to go back in two weeks after 12 weeks off sick with anxiety and I'm really struggling.

Whenever I start to spiral into workplace anxiety I try to stop and put it into perspective and then make a plan.

Ok, so I wasn't able to complete task A,B&C. What does that really mean?

  • will we lose a contract?
  • will we face significant financial penalties?
  • will it really matter to anyone except me?
  • what is, realistically, the worst thing that will happen?
  • how do I fix it, when can I get that work done, what can I move or delegate or reduce?

I also sympathise. I've booked counselling this week to talk about it. Anti depressants help.
