Good places to eat in Ljubljana

There are loads of lovely restaurants but that one is a bit special.

Lots of bars along the river bank.

If you're there for four days you have plenty of time to get the bus to Lake Bled for a day (book bus tickets in advance as it gets busy).

You can also do a boat trip and there's the Castle of course (funicular up, stroll own).

The pic is another bar a bit further down on the same side of the road as Juljia (going away from the Triple Bridge). They do simple but hearty food - the chicken stew is delicious.

Have a lovely time. I'm very jealous. Slovenia is my favourite place and I'm still suffering withdrawal symptoms.
