I feel so sorry for my friend, but don't have the knowledge to help her, so turned to the wise women of MN 😁

She has mobility problems and treated herself to a 2.5k electric wheelchair about 6 months ago ( it Is still under warranty).
The first chair broke at the side of a main road - a front wheel literally fell off, it was sheared metal. That chair was replaced for a new one.
The new chair has now broken down( it was used for 3 minutes). She took it back to the shop and they tested it and agreed it was knackered.

She js now waiting for the engineers to pick it up for repair. They have said the earliest will be 27th November. She goes abroad on holiday on the 20th and was really looking forward to getting around easily.
They will not supply a courtesy chair.

Does she just have to accept this? I thought she should be able to reject and get her money back, as this is the second chair that has broken, but I dare'nt suggest this, as I'm probably wrong.

Just seems bloody awful, all that money.....
