I opened my Mumsnet and the trending plus some of the threads I'm following are:

Date eating pub leftovers.

I've had my fair share of unbelievably odd behaviours from my STBX.

I can't help but wonder wtf is wrong with these people?

I think it stems from very young. Men are growing up entitled and superior. They don't start off as arseholes but many of them learn to be. You see it at primary schools, in parks - males take up 90 % of the space playing football, girls be kind round the edges. And it never stops - the constant drip of girls be kind to boys.

I completely agree with you 😔. I have a girl and I do see everything you mentioned and can't help but worry about the future.

And don't even get me started on transwomen!! How did men become so entitled as to believe their feelings trump women's safety? It beggars belief that not only do they believe they're right, but they have persuaded others they are too. I think the trans movement has been a good indicator of our current societal mindset - women must make way for men. And that insidious and widespread entitlement, means that men, like the ones detailed in your op, genuinely believe they can behave in whatever appalling way they choose, simply because they're men, and thus entitled to it.
