Im currently watching one of my favourites. A Little Princess

Couldn’t get it anywhere by streaming it, so I bought the dvd which also came with A Secret Garden which was another favourite of mine.

I loved Drop Dead Fred and quite a few that have been mentioned.

I am lucky enough to have a little girl right now who is going through a phase of liking everything i did as a girl. She is currently reading A little Princess, has just finished Heidi and the Secret garden. During the Summer we watched The Sound of Music, ET, Mary Poppins and Little Women (the new edition) and the Neverending Story. I also watched Stand by Me, My girl, and the Naked gun movies with my older son recently, my favourites as a teen. Naked Gun is still hilarous.

My all time childhood favourite was Annie, we didn't have a VCR so used to rent one for birthdays or Christmas. Every year for about 4 years we would rent Annie and watch it over and over then had it back waiting for the next time we would get it again. I even bought the tape of the soundtrack and knew every song backwards.

dixeypeach · 09/11/2023 19:55

Also Pippi longstocking

Soubriquet · 09/11/2023 19:57
