Bottom denture advice

I have a full bottom denture . I have 2 implant screws that they will be fitted onto . But my dentist has told me for now to wear them without them being fixed so I can get used to them first. I finding then really hard to wear I have had them almost 3 months and have tried them 3/4 times. So I Need to stop being a prick and make myself wear them.

I can't eat with them and I can't talk properly and they feel shit. But if i press down on them firmly with 2 fingers they don't feel so bad.

Any general tips ?

Are you fixing them in with fixodent? Maybe that will be better.

Try some cushion grip, if that doesn't work they might be a bit big in which case may need filing down slightly. Even a very small adjustment can make a massive difference in the mouth. The bottom denture is often more difficult to get used to than the top, hopefully it will be easier when it is fixed, but it may be that it's slightly oversized or needs the cushion adhesive to get it to fit snugly.
