When is the best time to tell your boss?

I'm a project manager at one of the biggest exhibition centres in UK & the job can be quite stressful.

I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant.

My first midwife appointment isn't till end of Nov & Scan early Dec so trying to find the best time to tell him 🙈

We sometimes do a bit of labouring but not often, I'm trying to avoid as best possible 🤣

Hearing experiences will help as this is my first

I did contemplate telling my manager at 9 weeks when the sickness got really bad and I felt I couldn't get out of bed. Luckily I had already booked 2 weeks off so managed to keep it quiet till 12 weeks. Had I not been off, I would have said it to my manager as I was starting to struggle at work with the nausea

There isn't really a right time I guess, depends on how you feel. Otherwise you would probably be mentioning it when you have your appointments next month, assuming you will take time off work for it. Congratulations :) x
