She went abroad for cheap cosmetic surgery and the NHS will pay to fix the mess that was made of her.

Wizz air is the shittiest little shuttle fucking piece of shit budget airline that there is. But they were daft not hostile. The stewardess at the front didn't know her colleagues name in the rear of the aircraft. She referred to him over the tannoy as the guy at the back during the safety briefing but that was as bad as it got.

She should have booked a business class seat home on BA if she wanted kid glove treatment post surgery and comfort.

I’ve had two hip replacements and I often get patted down at airports because I set off the alarm.

I’d rather they were thorough than lax with security tbh 🤷‍♀️.

I have had plastic surgery in turkey twice and flew back from Istanbul both times with no problems. What happened to her is obviously awful.

She should have covered her garments up properly though. I imagine they do get people pretending to have surgery who wear fake ones to smuggle things. I had a fit to fly letter from my surgeon both times and that was never checked and I never declared I had surgery. I was moving slower than I usually do but I don’t think it was obvious as I didn’t have any of my surgical garments on show, I put a huge jumper over the top.

I flew back from Istanbul a little while ago. I brought a bottle of water for meds before boarding - antibiotics can be flexible with timings AND I got offered water my cabin crew when the saw I was taking a shed load of meds.

If you're stupid enough to go to Turkey to get a cosmetic procedure ( which the Foreign Office advise against) then more fool you.

Istanbul is on a known drugs route.

Wizz air are the sort of airline you'd probably need to bring your own pilot and aeroplane but on what earth is it acceptable to get someone who's recently had surgery to take off their dressings. Could be the nature of the surgery which is distorting people's views but honestly, surgical dressings aren't just for shits and giggles. Problem is I doubt anyone will do anything about it.

Oh she took videos of staff without their consent as well so they deleted them off her phone.

Thousands of people fly to turkey for surgery so I’m really surprised they would do this.

She wasn’t singled out - it was a security check and if you bleep through the x ray you get patted down by security staff of the same sex.

If you wanted somewhere lax with security, I’m not sure I’d fly out of Istanbul tbh. They don’t really have the luxury of that.

OP what were you doing between security 1, checking and Security 2 (where there’s food courts and multiple shops selling water) and between security 2 and security 3 at boarding (where again there’s multiple food courts, shops selling water, cafes and FREE water fountains?)
