Yes- when I applied for a mortgage earlier this year I had to provide our broker with three years worth of SA302s as proof of income.

Are you self-employed? When we applied for our mortgage, I had to provide so many months (3? 6?) of payslips and bank account statements (for all accounts). Dh, who is a director of a limited company, had to supply the same number of account statements (including business accounts), plus tax statements (sorry, not actually sure the correct term, there were two different things for each year) for the previous 3 years.

Yes. Contact HMRC and ask for your SA302s. I think our mortgage provider wanted the SA302s plus the covering letter from HMRC so don’t discard the letter.
