Would you fake tan before going on holiday?

I'm going to Maspalomas on Sunday and I would like to not be so pale.
This is what we are dealing with at the minute
I'm thinking of putting 1 coat of dove summer glow on but i don't want it to stop me tanning.
It's looking at 31/32 degrees next week so not sure if I should just leave it
What would you do ?
Will I still tan through a fake tan ?

Yes I would. It will be so cold when you get back that no one will see your tan anyway.

I usually spray tan, that's very hot for gran canaria usually about 20 this time of year, it's 14 today so enjoy

I'm a pasty thing so yeah I fake tan. I use the gradual tanners as I find spray tan comes off in the pool. I only slightly tan naturally, so continue to use it daily on holiday and come home with that 'been on holiday' glow even though most of it is fake (I'm a red head)

I do my legs with Dove throughout a holiday (I don't sunbathe though). But I'm so untamable that you look tanned already to me 😃

I definitely would. It's doesn't affect your tan at all. I go very brown in the sun despite factor 50 and still use gradual tan as well when I'm abroad.

Don't forget the sun block! You may only be young now (under 40 is young to me 🤣) but you don't want to look like 70 at 50 or go through treatment for skin melanoma like several of my family and friends.

Yes of course, I actually wouldn't dream of going away somewhere hot without doing a tan first. I look 100000x times better in my bikini with tan on.

Yes, a fake tan will offer absolutely zero protection for the sun.

I spray tan and lie in the shade as I don't want to damage my skin. You don't look very pale to me though

No because fake tan looks fake and unless I was going on reality TV it screams fake
