Does anyone know why I can’t sell tickets on ticketmaster

I have 3 tickets for Coldplay in Dublin next year. They were a bit of an impulse buy (I don’t live in Ireland 😅) but got them on the presale. However due to numerous reasons we can no longer attend. I’ve sold numerous tickets via ticketmaster, but this time the ‘sell’ button is greyed out. I have tried messaging ticketmaster but have yet to have a response

I have quite a few concerts next year and they all have the ‘sell’ button except Coldplay! Including tickets I purchased for green day today that only went on sale this morning.

can anyone shed any light on this, I’m panicking I won’t be able to sell them now!

Ps this is not me subtly trying to sell them via mumsnet 😅 there is no option to sell or transfer at all

Just looked at my account and I can't either. According to site the event organisers have not activated that option yet.

They sometimes don’t activate it at all. I had tickets for a gig recently and couldn’t go because I was ill. Tickets were in my Ticketmaster app and couldn’t be transferred or sold. I tried downloading them to my apple wallet and they were not transferable from there either. (This wasn’t a well known band/sold out event, no touts would have been interested, so not sure why so restricted? 🤷🏻‍♀️)
DH took a friend instead… but to get the tickets he had to install the app on his phone and then use my log in. So that option is ok if you’re giving the tickets to someone you trust, but otherwise, you’re screwed. I would contact them asap and ask.

I’m sorry I sold them on ticketmaster literally yesterday! I put them on and they were sold within 10 minutes

@ExpressYourElf i was going to ask the same question, been looking for ages! Tickets are impossible to get for anything these days!!

general shout out to anyone- if you have tickets for Coldplay in Dublin that you are not selling for 2/3/4/5 times their face value please DM me!

Hi, having the same issue and came across this. Have tickets for Coldplay which I can’t attend and Ticketmaster not allowing resale. Can I ask what you did? Did it suddenly allow resale or did you have to go about selling in some other way? Many thanks
