Winter sun that doesn't involve a super-long flight - any ideas?

My husband and I are looking for a week's holiday this November somewhere hot.

We don't want to travel too far, so my husband is keen on Tenerife.

Does anyone have recommendations for hot destinations in November that ideally don't involve a super-long flight?

Thank you!

Cape Verde. Have never been but a friend goes regularly. I think it's quite windy though and not loads to do.

I think the Canary Islands are your best bet for sun and relatively short flight.

Most of the Canary Islands are great for winter sun and about a 4/5 hour flight. Although it is quite chilly in the evenings. South of the islands i believe are warmer

The Canaries and Madeira are the obvious choices.

Another alternative is Cape Verde - but do your research about which island because they're quite different. Sal is flat and desert-like, whereas Sao Vicente and Santo Antao are more mountainous and green. You can take a ferry between the islands.

Marrakech

What's your definition of super-long and how warm are you hoping it will be?

Andalucian cities would also be good if you want the option to do more cultural stuff than relax in the sun. But there's quite a lot to see and do in Madeira and Lanzarote that's more than just beach/pool/watersports.

I'd start by looking for cheap/convenient flights from my local airport and go from there.

Any flight that's over 7 hours! And I guess at least 23 degrees and generally sunny.
