Past benefit claim

I’ve been reading in the news about all these UC reviews.

I no longer receive universal credit but have done in the past my question is do they review past claims or is it just current claimants?

If you look online it says they have the ability to review past claimants, and this ability is without a time limit. Whether they'll review closed claims or not is anyone's guess, but they already can if they suspect fraud.
