Friend coming over for a meal - alternative to wine?

I have a friend coming around for tea/dinner next week. I'd like to offer her something a bit more adult than orange squash with our meal 😅

What drink (non-alcoholic) can I serve as a wine alternative?

Is non-alcoholic wine the answer? If so, what's a good one?

Thank you!

, I think you can just say, I'm doing an alcohol free month, will have some (insert whatever you're getting in), but if you want to bring anything for yourself, feel free.

This.

I find all the af versions of wine, including Nozecco, revolting, and I would be embarrassed if my host had bought these things for me because they are bloody expensive for what they are. I would happily drink water, or if so Invited by the explanation above, happily take a couple of beers (which I enjoy with Chilli) , a screw top wine bottle or whatever.

I think it's a bit odd not to offer her a glass of wine with her meal just because you've chosen not to have any!

I'd rather just have an orange squash but maybe that's just me!
