Im in love with it. It reminds me on the council houses the big families had in our estate in the 70’s, am I thinking along the right lines? This just seems massive and over three million😮 I wonder how much it was sold off for? Looking out the windows its victorian on one side but obviously an estate on the other side. I cant get my head around it but I guess its location. I need a lotto win https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/140188919#/streetView?channel=RES_BUY

I know where this is. I don't think it was ever a council estate. You are right it's very nice. The mainline railway goes underground just there which makes me wonder if the house shakes.

I know the area too. It's nicely done, but roughly double what those houses normally cost so I'd be quite surprised if they got that for it. Most go for 1.7-2 million ish depending on condition.

Is it on a very busy road?

Not especially busy. There are bus routes alongside this estate but it's not an A road. It's a very pleasant residential area. Mix of council blocks and posh private. Very near shops, park, tube etc. Are you putting an offer in? Grin

Too modernist for me, I'd prefer one of the Victorian ones opposite.

EachandEveryone · 07/11/2023 15:27

That would be twice the price though!
