Are you near me? Some idiot is lettting off fireworks in the distance here too. Those screaming ones. Plenty of hours of darkness before now if they absolutely must. Grr.

Aethelberht · 06/11/2023 23:28

Come live near me. We have nightly ones at about midnight for the next two months.

SwedishEdith · 07/11/2023 00:21

Some just gone off now at 00:15. Presumably it's a birthday but such an odd thing to bother doing on a Monday night.

Pineapplepots · 07/11/2023 00:23

We seem to live in firework central, I fully expect to hear them most nights between 1st Nov and 1st January every year. I hate it.

pizzaHeart · 07/11/2023 00:26

There were quite a few near us about 7.30pm when I was walking home.

MadisonAvenue · 07/11/2023 00:38

They were going off here at 2.30pm today.
Daytimes have been the only respite our dog has had from them so he’s been a nervous trembling wreck for even longer today.

Aylestone · 07/11/2023 00:46

1.45am here and they’ve been going over 10 mins at a neighbours house

DiscoBeat · 07/11/2023 01:13

Maybe because it was raining last night in many places, but agree that it's annoying. Luckily the people in our village let everyone know when they're planning to have fireworks so we're prepared. None tonight

sashh · 07/11/2023 04:36

It's Diwali on the 12th, I expect fireworks until then.

Remember, Remember, October, November and December has replaced the traditional rhyme.
