Greenwich, Dulwich or elsewhere?

Hi, wondering if anyone has any experience of the above areas?
DH and I currently live in a flat in Stratford (East Village area), but are looking to buy, settle down, start a family etc.
We have a decent budget (up to 1.5mil at most) but would like a 5 bed (4 If space in garden for office). DH has lived in Greenwich before (specifically around Maze Hill) and lived there when we met, I liked the area but worry about the pollution (especially around Trafalgar Road).
We’ve also been considering Dulwich/East Dulwich but no real experience of our own around there.
We want good schools (we like the progressive, no uniforms etc schools in Greenwich a lot as these align with our personal ethos). A nice park nearby, good sized house and preferably a garden too!
Other areas we liked were Richmond/Twickenham but they feel very far out.
I work near Battersea Power Station/Nine elms and DH is freelance but frequently works around Farringdon and in Greenwich.

Anyone have any experience of Greenwich or Dulwich? Which would you pick in our circumstances? Or any other areas which might meet or needs that we haven’t thought of?

I’d pick Greenwich on the basis of liking the schools. Dulwich schools don’t seem to be listed as ‘progressive’ but perhaps there are some around.

I don’t know about the schools but perhaps East Sheen/Barnes would work.
Getting from Twickenham to Greenwich is a bit of a slog if OH has to do it often.

Telegraph hill in New Cross? There's an upper and lower park with lovely views. Victorian 4/5bed semis with large gardens, trains from nunhead to Farringdon or a 30min walk/bus to Greenwich. Good primary schools including Edmund Waller which is progressive, no uniform etc. People say similar about Myatt Garden too. Hatcham College secondary or Deptford Green for a more relaxed, arts focused secondary. Close to nunhead, brockley, deptford, peckham for amenities, bars, restaurants.
