I honestly don’t really understand this. She’s got an Aus passport already which is a much more valuable passport than a Costa Rican one. The only passport with more value in that list is the USA and even then not really as child’s birth doesn’t entitle parents to citizenship.
Also, I don’t see how it’s “colonising” - she’s one person and if she lived and worked there she would have to pay tax etc and lastly it’s up to the countries to change the rules if they don’t want people doing this.
