We’ve got a rare treat in a babysitter for NYE who will look after them overnight.

We live in outskirts of London so could do central London and come home or a night nearby in a hotel. What to do?

Whatever you do, be prepared for high cost. We tried to go out last year and everywhere had an extortionate set menu. Go for a nice meal and cocktails? Watch fireworks over the river, you need a ticket though and it always looks so crowded and cold.
