We’ve had a rough first year of marriage, including having a baby who’s not been well and has just been released from hospital. This means I’ve left it quite late to sort a present out as it’s next weekend. It needs to be something I can order online and up to around £50.
I think in years to come we probably won’t do gifts but it would it be nice to mark out first anniversary with something a little special and to acknowledge how glad I am to have had him to be there through everything.
I’d quite like to get something paper and stupidly I gave him a book and tickets for his recent birthday 🤦♀️ so am a bit out I’d ideas. He’s quite private and doesn’t like flashy things or anything that could be deemed tacky or tat. He’d hate anything with our wedding date splashed over it or a big picture of us. I like the idea of paper airplane cuff links but he doesn’t have to wear them for work post-covid so that’s a no go. I think he’d like artwork like this, if it didn’t have the writing on it and was more subtle hints to places we’d been (this one is over budget and in America
anyway).
He love quirky infographics and the Information is Beautiful books so something along those lines would be perfect.
Please help, my brain is scrambled from sitting in hospitals looking at too many things!
