Merlin monthly Subscription

Hey all 👋
Has anyone has a Merlin pass on a 12 month subscription and stopped paying it after a couple of months? Do Merlin just revoke your use or do they want the full 12 months worth of payments?

It's not a subscription, it's a direct debit payment to spread the cost for a full priced item. If you don't pay, you could be liable for the full cost if they choose to enforce their terms, but you're more likely to just have your passes cancelled. First thing to do would be to read the smallprint of the contract you agreed to, then try and talk to someone at their customer services.

Surely if you could just cancel your direct debit after a couple of months, everyone would just buy an annual pass, use it lots in the summer and then cancel the direct debit as nobody wants to go in the rain. As pp said, you are buying an annual ticket, but spreading the cost.
