OCD

This may seem a strange one, I'm researching OCD and phobias and would appreciate any feedback on this question.
If, while rummaging around in a display of bagged potatoes in a supermarket, you felt a sharp scratch on your little finger, what would you think had scratched you? There are no obvious sharp edges, and if would be impossible for you to have scratched yourself (short nails)
What action would you take , if any.
Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

I'd think it was a fragment of metal or glass, or a sharp-edged stone, probably. Possibly a biting insect? I doubt very much indeed that I'd make a big drama out of it, or worry very much. If I found the offending article I might take it to the supermarket customer services. By the way I don't have OCD. Is it your intention that only OCD sufferers reply? If so, you ought to have made that clearer.

No, I would be grateful to hear from everyone, not only people with OCD. Sorry that was not clear.

I have OCD. I would assume it was a sharp rock or a metal fragment - I find both of these in my garden digging potatoes and other veg. I actually cut myself on some barbed wire in the compost yesterday. I'd say 'fucking hell! ouch!' probably and I'd make sure I wasn't bleeding and I'd carry on with my day. I'd probably buy a different sack of potatoes though.
