Daughter and Grandson got a taxi at tea time to go to a bonfire party. Grandson is ASD.. not that it matters in this instance.

Yes!

Yes totally inappropriate.

WannaLiveInABubble · 05/11/2023 23:41

He'd probably suss out who reported though. Being as your daughter asked him to turn it off?

TheShellBeach · 05/11/2023 23:43

I'd report that.

jlpth · 05/11/2023 23:43

No I wouldn't. He'd know who reported it.

Not the same thing at all, but I had a horrible situation recently where my DD had to go to A & E when with DH but I was at work so got a taxi. I was obviously distressed, making calls etc. The driver had talk radio on very loud where people were ringing in talking about suicide and their experiences of finding family members etc. It was incredibly insensitive. I was literally too upset to confront him

Does your daughter want to? Ultimately if she does then she should. I wouldn't expect much to come of it.

Not sure how I really feel about seeing quite that language and vocabulary though, surely an explanation would have done rather than show the message in it's full view, sensitive warning or not.
