Bloody bathroom scales give me the rage!

Had a pair beginning of year that would deviate 5lbs up or down within seconds of getting on and off them.

So I invested in some salter mechanical scales.

Now they've gone funny. Set it to 0, get on and it goes back to 7lbs, instead of 0. Have to adjust it every time and I didn't know if it was accurate.

So bought amazon's best rated digital scales.

And from the salter to those is 10lbs heavier!

I've got DH to stand on them and it's the same for him. He's 10lbs heavier on the digital ones.

So I have no idea if I've put a tonne of weight on or not, if one scale is broke. Or both?

Are you weighing yourself at the same time of day / no clothes / same place?

Is the floor solid?

Have you used a weight to determine if its accurate?

Thankyou, I weighed one of DS weights. I don't know why I didn't think of that!

The digital ones are correct. Am way heavier than I thought 😭
