Teachers' Pension advice

I have quite a complicated Teachers' Pension / general pension situation. My union advised a session with Wesleyan for advice. It was OK but quite general. Has anyone found and paid for an advisor who really knows about this pension/AVCs etc please?
I need quite a hand hold through the processes and I'd be happy to pay for that as the whole thing is taking forever and driving me nuts.

I had a private session ( about 12 years ago though) with the Wesleyan man and found him very helpful and knowledgable. He was able to give me all of the different scenarios re taking reduced pension early, bigger v smaller lump sum etc.

Wesleyan really are the " experts" so it might be worth going back and having a specific 1:1 session

TP themselves are great if you ring them. Wesleyan are also experts.

I had a private meeting with Wesleyan and they were very helpful but ultimately you have t make the decisions.

Yes I understand that but I don't think I have enough information to do so at the moment. I wasn't overly impressed with the Wesleyan guy. He spoke in broad brushstrokes when I need finer detail. Also he wasn't able to answer some of my questions about other pension products I have. It all felt quite jolly but surface level.
