Fireworks at Richmond Athletics Ground - muddy?

Anyone know Richmond Athletics Ground? We're going to fireworks there tonight and want to know if we should be prepared for it being very muddy underfoot. (Fingers-crossed, the spectators will be on hard-standing and only the fireworks will be on the muddy rugby pitch).

For the benefit of anyone wanting the same info next year - yes it was muddy - shallow mud which cakes the bottom of your shoes but not the sides. And there were some quite big puddles in the car park while queueing to get in.

There were lots of very young families there, and rides were mostly aimed at the little ones. There were long queues for food. My teens' verdict was that they prefer the Kempton Park fireworks.
