My DC is applying for casual (zero hours) jobs in two different local authority sports centres. The HR recruitment contact is the same for both, but the hiring managers are different. My questions are:
- Is it likely that the HR recruitment person will tell the hiring managers that DC is applying to both, or would that be a GDPR breach?
- If he is offered both, would he be able to accept both? (Afaik, there are no contractual terms to say that he can't).
The advantage to him of having both jobs is that he will have a greater choice of shifts, though I can see how it might impact his potential availability in the eyes of the hiring managers if they know about it.
