What are your tried & tested Temu purchases?

I downloaded the app tonight. I'm not sure what to make of it. It's very 'busy' with loads of choice. The reviews seem great for absolutely everything, which is at odds with the price Hmm Considering a pair of yoga pants for my daughter, but not sure what the quality will be like.
Has anyone bought anything off Temu and what do you make of it?

I agree, Temu/Shein are possibly very dodgy re source of products, but anyone can Google big name brands eg Nike and see the appalling conditions of workers in Asia. It takes a lot of research to try to ensure that you’re using ethical producers and of course it’s tempting to use cheaper sources, especially with dc who change size every 5 minutes.

I've had some really good purchases off them, a thing to cut veg into batons, a pull chopper, rings, headbands. I have a dress that was on a mainstream website for 4 times what I paid for it.

I've bought some Christmas presents from there, a key ring, a bottle opener, a thermal hat all as good as you'd buy on the high street.

It's not as cheap as it used to be though and there are fakes making their way onto it.

Most of their clothes though aren't as good as the reviews but I still found some gems. Their jeans are supposed to be really good but I don't wear them, I do have a denim skirt though

Hi all, unfortunately the OP is a previously banned troll so we've removed their threads and posts.

Slave labours? You might want to update your info on Chinese labour cost & why big factories are moving to Vietnam.

I've used Temu to buy:

  • those lids with the holes so I can grow sprouting seeds
  • stainless steel mop handle to replace my Vileda plastic handle that broke within a month
  • personal alarm
  • nerf bullets

Happy with everything so far and around the same quality I'd expect from Amazon. Had no idea they sold clothes but I don't buy clothes online because I prefer to see and feel quality before.

I ordered via the website and paid using PayPal. Why would you download the app when you don't need to?
