Hoping for some advice with fasting

I’ll try to keep this brief and really appreciate any advice…
im a big girl. Solid size 20, 105kg. I wasn’t always this way. Was quite slim until I fell in love, had kids etc.
with the stress of covid my weight crept up even more. This led to severe sleep apnea, I was diagnosed in January and my body is finally feeling back to normal after 9 months on CPAP.
I decided ten days ago to try making healthier choices with food, great. I slept in a bit later than normal as it was half term and found I could wait awhile before I wanted breakfast. Heading back to work this past week, I thought I’d give intermittent fasting a go. My goal was eating a snack 10 am (when I have a break) and then lunch and then tea by 6pm.
I found it so easy that I pushed back the snack to 12 and started skipping it altogether.
so now I’m eating 12-6 and fasting the other 18 hours. In 1 week I’ve lost just over two kilos. I’m never hungry and it seems too easy?
like I’m worried there something wrong? I’m the girl who loved an omelette for brekkie, snacks, good lunch, snack, hearty dinner and a good snacking sesh in the evening.
I’ve Given all this up and my body isn’t remotely bothered to be on simply lunch and dinner (with a cuppa and two biscuits after school run). I’m not hungry at all. When I tried weight watchers a few years ago, I found I was always starving and it was miserable.
Is this right? any reassurances greatly appreciated.

Yay!! It really works.
I didn’t know about intermittent fasting until I read a paper a student had written on it. I swear it’s the only reason I’m slim. I’ve never dieted, never eaten breakfast. I notice when I’m on holiday where the breakfast is free and delicious I can easily put on a kilo in a week. Back home, back to no breakfast and back to normal for me weight.

I suspect that the current rate of weight loss won't continue. Although for me it comes in fits and starts. Some weeks I lose 1.5k others I stay the same or even go up a few grams)
I am currently a bit less than you. I started intermittent fasting 4 months ago and have lost just under 2 stone. My eating hours aren't as restricted as yours - generally 12midday /2pm to 8 to 10pm.

So long as you are including protein and vegetables you should be ok. It may also help to take some supplements as your diet is effectively very restricted.
