Can anyone recommend a phone game you just pay for in advance and then can play without constant adverts or the game stitching you up when you reach a certain level?

If you like Match 3 games, then Royal Match and Royal Kingdom are great free games with NO adverts.

Neither of them have any adverts at all. Royal Match is the longest established so is a lot smoother. There are lots of ways of building up bonuses and it's great fun, exasperating and frustrating in equal measure

edit I've been playing for 4 years (on and off) and I am on about level 7000, and although some levels are obviously harder than others, they are all doable

Royal Match. It is free, and no ads. I also like the Simon's Cat games.

Awesome I shall check these out. Any other recommendations anyone?

spider solitaire and a whole series of other card games from the same company (mobilitywear)
Candy Crush
1010!
wordBrain
10connect
nonograms
kakuoendless
moxie
Ilovehuetoo
flowfree
ballz
2048

these are all free with a few ads but not too many

I have a few games (including Angry Birds and Wooduko) that are ad-free if my phone is in airplane mode.

Obviously in situations where you can earn things by watching an ad that's not ideal, but general play is less annoying.

Oh ugg. So I like royal match but it times you out once you run out if lives. Ideally looking for an app I can pay for once but just keep playing

I'm happy to pay for it but would rather progression wasn't limited by in app purchases

I'm loving Monopoly at the moment! It's free, but the only pop ups you seem to get are for the game and that's only when you start the game or run out of dice! Hate adverts in games!
