I’m 47 and I’ve had a BMI around 20 for the past few years. Recently I injured my knee and have had to cut back on the amount of exercise I do. I’ve put on 6lb and gone to a BMI of 22. I have noticed that I look less tired and I think generally better in the face. My knee is better now and I’ve started exercising again but am wondering whether to keep the weight on. I am a bit paranoid as I used to be very overweight, so am always wary about slipping back.
