Would this work instead of party bags

I'm doing quite a big party, ~35 kids and won't be able to carry a lot of stuff to the venue so normal party bags are out of the question. I don't really want to wrap pieces of cake to give instead though and I'm not keen on sweet cones because there are multiple dietary requirements going on. The kids are age 3-5. If I wrapped up individual bits of tat and did it as a lucky dip, would the excitement of the lucky dip make them not notice that they're only getting a single piece of tat?

Depends on the tat I would say.

I think that's a nice idea (and better than thousands of bits of tat anyway)

My kids love a dip in the box. You could do books, packs of colouring pens etc.
How old are the dc? I'd be tempted to go to The Works and but a load of their 10 for a tenner Christmas books and give them as go home pressies.

Yes definitely! Always a big hit.

could you get some multi packs of books and give one each .. I personally think a small piece of plastic sh*t would be disappointing.
