Sofa beds - where?

Where do you go to buy a good quality sofa bed? (our ikea one hasn't been a good buy and needs replacing!).

I'd like to be able to sit on it before we buy it and see how easy it is to open and fold. Have used dfs before and also wasn't too impressed. It would be used for a few days every couple of months (MIL visits).

Furniture village had some Italian leather ones that you unfolded from the centre back no removing of cushions and there were pockets in it for the pillows really nice but expensive but you can test and lie on them.
