Who makes you laugh in real life?

Most of us have TV shows etc that make us laugh but who makes.you laugh in real life?

My kids have always made me laugh but most of us would probably say that anyway! My dad always made me laugh til I cried and I miss that so much too. I work with a woman just now who I swear just has funny bones, she makes me laugh so much. How lovely it is to laugh and see other people laugh, it's food for the soul!

I absolutely agree, laughing at ridiculous things is one of the joys in my life, and really important to me, in the same way that listening, singing and dancing to music is. Lots of people in my life make me laugh, and like silly animal YouTube videos too at the moment.

I've been very lucky with the places I've worked in, they've all been places with a lovely working atmosphere and people who made me laugh. You can't underestimate how important a good laugh is!

My brother is naturally funny and we have the same sense of humour so when we meet up we laugh a lot.

Farts! Farts and silly noises make me laugh and I don't care if anyone thinks that's stupid. My best friend is also hilarious and we've had endless crying, wet your pants, giggle fits about nothing at all. It feels so good to laugh!

My DH and best friend are the people who make me laugh the most (apart from DC!). DH and I crack each other up a lot, quite often remembering things from long ago or telling each other things the kids have done/said.

And my best friend and I only have to give each other a look or a word and we're both in fits. We joke about everything!

But get the three of us together and we laugh pretty much constantly, with lots of in jokes and old stories, and movie/TV quotes that make us laugh a lot!

My husband, he is genuinely really cute and funny

I always say I have no real sense of humour, I laugh at loads of things. My DH, coworkers, children - all make me laugh. A reflexologist once said she could see in my feet I like to laugh. Im sure my crows feet gave it away.

My DH. It's one of the things that attracted me to him. We're always having fun and making each other laugh.

Before I wfh, there was a young lad in my office that had me howling, just v dry & witty & I loved it. There was a no nonsense girl there too & she also made me laugh very much. Both these 2 were not PC & I think that’s what appeals to me. I absolutely find Ricky Gervais hilarious & he’s also not PC.

My friends - couple of them make me laugh a bit but not massively. I do love them for different reasons.

My DD makes me laugh too & I make myself laugh too. Especially in the way I deal with my DD & role play games.

My ex makes me laugh, he can be quite funny - hideous in other ways though but with wfh, I have to take any scraps I can.

My kids with their funny antics and DH, we laugh a lot in this house over silly things that to outsiders probably aren't that funny but to us is part of the fun of being us.

Manadou · 04/11/2023 14:00

DH affectionately taking the piss out of me makes me crack up.

TotalOverhaul · 04/11/2023 14:00

DH and both Dc are naturally funny. We have a good laugh almost every day. Cute foxes in the garden make me giggle too.

devildeepbluesea · 04/11/2023 14:01

My dog, he really is the funniest little chap. He’s not the sharpest tool in the box but his little ways are so funny.

DD when she’s not trying to be cool.

Toilet humour 🤣

Imreallytiredandanxioustoday · 04/11/2023 14:03

DH is very amusing and he makes me cry laughing most days.

VeridicalVagabond · 04/11/2023 14:06

My 16yo daughter. She's turned into a right sassy madam and she just makes me howl. She's one of those lucky people who has natural charisma and just makes people laugh, seemingly effortlessly. She gets it from my husband I think.

So glad she got that instead of my general air of awkwardness.

Vegemiteandhoneyontoast · 04/11/2023 14:32

MY OH's laughter makes me laugh. He's the most uninhibited laugher I've ever known and he'll slap his thighs and just roar with laughter.
