Totally inspired by the bookshelf post, what are you currently reading?
I’ve got two books on the go at the moment, both picked up from a bric a brac stall outside the local Methodist church last weekend - ‘Dear Bill Bryson’ by Ben Aitken, and ‘The Outsiders’ by SE Hinton (read this years and years ago, but must’ve donated in the house move cull.
DC has about six books on the go, though one is a 4 in 1 -
Alex Rider - The Missions
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (have read many many times but loves it)
Northern Lights
Blitzcat (library book)
Skandar and the Unicorn Thief
The Otherwhere Emporium (asked for this for birthday as read The Nowhere Emporium at school)
DH has a mix of work related books (financial) and hobby (photography) on his desk.
Do you have a favourite genre of books?
And I know this is like asking who is your favourite child, but what is your one ultimate favourite book, the one you wouldn’t mind being stranded on a desert island with?
I’m going to have a good think on mine…
