Awww I am rewatching - forgot how good it was ❤️

My favourite episode is Phoebe's Wedding! Gives me the warm and fuzzies. What is yours?

All time fav episode is Brad Pitt. I was obsessed with him at the time and it just looks like they all had so much fun making it. When Pheobe hugs him 😁

Im stepping away from this thread now as I’ll just start listing all the episodes!

BeingGivenMoney · 04/11/2023 08:02

I like the one where Phoebe and Mike get back together and due to some confusion Phoebe ends up dumping his current girlfriend (Precious) for him.

“Can I call you Susie?”
”My name is Precious.”
”Yeah, I can’t call you that.”

It’s probably one of the only Phoebe scenes I like and find funny as I was never very keen on her character.

Although I did also like the one where she first met David when he and his colleague were talking during one of her performances….”Is there something you’d like to share with the rest of us?” 😂

When Chandler is trying to sort out the CDs and is singing "The sun'll come out..." and suddenly switches the sound of his voice and says "There'll be SUN" really gruffly.

"Was that tanning place... the sun?"

"Where shall we go for lunch?" "Mama's Little Bakery, Chicago, Ilinois?" (the cheesecake episode).

I love the One with the resolutions. The leather trousers is fantastic, but my favourite part of that episode is where Chandler relieves himself of all his pent up jokes and ends with "Elizabeth Hornswaggle? Are you dating a character from Fraggle Rock?! Aaaahhh".

I'm an English teacher and got the part when Joey uses a thee-saurus on every word into a lesson yesterday as it happens Grin.

Where’s the best place to watch these? YouTube is often rubbish quality.

madnessitellyou · 04/11/2023 08:14

I watch on Netflix.

Friends is always first on the "Continue watching" list!

Puffypuffin · 04/11/2023 08:20

The one with Ross's leather pants and the one when he goes to the tanning salon. Oh and the one where Rachel gets pissed on a date and leaves a message on Ross's answering machine telling him that she's 'over him'.
As far as scenes go, anything with just Chandler and Joey in it.

friendsfiend · 04/11/2023 08:21

I don't really have a favourite episode but my absolutely favourite moment is the one where Joey drinks the gallon of milk at the end. I don't know why and it's so silly but it makes me howl.

I think it's the one where Joey speaks French.

“I hope you got your cat…..which I think you should call ‘Michael’ by the way….” 😂

Where Joey learns french

Smurfmurf · 04/11/2023 08:26

When the twins are born, Ross and the suntan, viewing the house and Janice comes downstairs, Emma being born, Pivot! Too many really.

I can’t believe how many people have said this…..I absolutely hated that episode! The stupidity of it was just just ridiculous. I can’t even watch it because of how dumb they portray Joey to be 😢

capnfeathersword · 04/11/2023 08:28

The one with two parties. Just laugh all the way through.. particularly meaningful as a child of divorce!

SpongeBob2022 · 04/11/2023 08:30

I don't really have a favourite episode but I think my favourite moment is when Monica discovers Ross was her 'first kiss ever'.

The one where no one is ready is probably my least favourite!

Crunchymum · 04/11/2023 08:31

Mine are all Ross episodes.

Pivot / leather trousers / my sandwich / white teeth / spray tan.

I prefer the later series' to the earlier and I love Mike. Some of the cameo's were epic - the Brad Pitt episode was fabulous 👌

I’ve already posted several but keep remembering others. Ross and the 3b episode.

43ontherocksporfavor · 04/11/2023 08:34

Oh of course Pivot! My sandwich!

NooNakedJacuzziness · 04/11/2023 08:40

The one when they have two parties to keep Rachel's awful parents apart and Monica is organising the "fun" in the dull party with Phoebe smuggling people across to the better party in the boys' apartment. "You have to push the lid until it clicks"

MariaVT65 · 04/11/2023 08:41

The One Where Everybody Finds out ‘this is my bra’ ‘it’s very very nice’

AND

The London Episodes!!

shivbo2014 · 04/11/2023 08:50

All of them, but perhaps the one where Rachel watches the videotape from their prom and then goes and kisses Ross. My favourite show of all times.

Quite agree!

DeireadhFomhair · 03/11/2023 22:57

The one with the video tape.... where they discover how Rachel got pregnant

The one where no one’s ready. A bottle episode that was made to save money, but it captures their personalities perfectly.

It’s absolutely the best episode. It’s like an old ‘I Love Lucy’ episode. Everything taking place in one room with people coming and going via different doors. The episode plays out in real time also so we feel Ross’s despair as the clock ticks down. And you’re right how it showcases each characters’ neurosis perfectly. I didn’t realise it was a money-saving episode. I always thought of it as an homage to earlier sitcoms and a stroke of genius.

MrsJellybee · 04/11/2023 09:19

I also love The One with the Poker.
