Leggings for tall slim girls

My daughter, who is 7 years old, has a slender figure with long, slim legs. I've been having difficulties in finding leggings that fit her properly.

Most of the leggings I come across are either too loose around the waist and legs, although they are the right length, or they fit well but end up being too short.

The longer length leggings in age 6 from Next fit her perfectly, but unfortunately, they only offer limited colours (black, grey, white, and navy).

I am in search of vibrant and fun leggings that will fit her well.

Previously, H&M used to be a good fit for her, but now that she has grown a size, their leggings are too baggy. I've had the same issue with Boden and M&S. Can you suggest any other places where I can find bright and exciting leggings that will fit her perfectly?

No. Next white and tie-dye.

Maybe have a look at the little locket leggings from Lucy locket loves.

Thank you. Are they specifically made for tall girls?

Also Verbaudet come up very slim fit generally.

Thank you @RandomMess, I've never bought from Vertbaudet before. Just had a look at the website, lovely leggings and good prices. I'll place an order and keep my fingers crossed they'll fit.

Zara are pretty slim. I don’t mind the 3/4 length look though, with leggings, which obviously sorts out the sizing issue.

I've had success with Sainsbury's leggings.

Next do tall in their kids leggings

judgedreadful · 05/11/2023 08:33

My daughters the same and I buy next long leggings.

Have you looked at handmade leggings? I have a clothing business and the pattern I use is tall and slim (I struggle finding leggings for my daughter). They work out a bit more expensive but there's a good range of patterns etc

I used to sew a tuck in the back hem. Very easy to do and comfy. M & S used to fit similar to H & M when my long legged DD was small

I was just coming along to say sew a tuck into leggings - I would do two smaller ones though either side
