I'm really pleased but also worried . Dd has has ss involvement for 3 years . Due to domestic violence. He's been in prison for most of them 3 years He's let out on licence or after serving his time. Just to end up going back to prison roughly a week later for breaking licence conditions/breaking restraining order.
When he broke restraining order before dd reported to police . And they done nothing came out to take statements a handful of times but nothing done. It was hoping in circles. In the end social services kicked police butt and he got arrested and back to prison.
So now that social services are stepping down which is fantastic for dd. It worry me that when he does it again social services won't be there to kick butt with the police. And the police won't do what they should.
I don't think there's an answer to it. Just really worries me though.
