Would you think a user who thanks every single comment is making a point?

Just that, really. On a thread I started (diff username) with lots of replies, I’ve maybe replied to posters ten times. Not particularly controversial thread. They have thanked everything I have said. Would you think that’s odd?

Not really.
Why do you think it's odd?
Do you think someone is being pass-agg?

Why is that weird? It’s the same as upvoting a comment on Reddit or liking a comment on FB. Maybe they just agree with all of your posts? That’s how I’d take it anyway

Theredfoxfliesatmidnight · 03/11/2023 19:10

Maybe its just that your posts were about something really relevant to them, and that you made good points?

Possibly, just trying to figure it out. Could be that they agree with everything! I’m not a Reddit user so wouldn’t know if it’s common on other forums

You do get all sorts on here. Maybe they think they're supposed to, like the person who allegedly thought it was the done thing to write 'LOL' after everything, even condolences, because she thought it meant 'Lots Of Love'.

Wendysfriend · 03/11/2023 19:16

It sounds like they are thankful for what you wrote. I've thanked a poster a few times in the same thread, that's because they posted sense and something directed to me. Tbh I don't even know how to check my thanks that I get, I'm probably missing out on hundreds 😂
