Best place to get second hand car parts?

The turbo has seized on my 2016 Ford Focus - took it to my local garage and they quoted £1.4k for a brand new one - planning to get rid of the car in the next 18 months anyway so didn’t want to spend that much on it - does anyone recommend a particular website that I can buy a replacement turbo (second hand) from?

I bought a brand new wing mirror of ebay. Maybe gumtree or a local scrapper?

Have you had a look at Euro car parts? Ignore the euro part as they stock Ford turbos and normally discounted when you sign up (do a week before you buy)!

If not, I would head to a local breakers yard and take your chance with taking it off a write-off. However, you don’t know what you get with that.

I fit most stuff from YouTube tutorials as it’s easier these days than the 2000 model cars!

Or try eBay. A lot of small firms have eBay trade accounts. They will get the right unit for your model

DH uses EBay for car parts. He needs a switch for an old Landrover, which is £400 from Land Rover: about £75 shipped from Cyprus!
