Seasalt catalogues

There is no option on their site to unsubscribe from the mailing list. I return them with a note not to send any more, every time.

Another one arrived today.

At one time there were 2 arriving every time there was a new one, waiting to see if another one turns up.

I don't want to buy dresses with the waist under the tits, itchy wool jumpers and huge wide fitting footwear. Neither do I want to buy waterproof jackets that are made from plastic recycling that make you sweat as if you are in a sauna, or pottering gowns with leaky blue dye that transfers to everything.

I just want them to leave me alone. I didn't even sign up for it, I just made the mistake of buying something and have been getting these damn things ever since.

I stop buying from companies that do this, shame they don't match it against their sales records and remove people who clearly aren't interested instead of churning out paper recycling.

Just wanted to whinge. Ignore if you aren't interested, which you probably aren't.

Send a GDPR request to delete your data.

I emailed them and they took me off their list.

On the page below there is a phone number and email address of their data protection officer - contact them and ask for your details to be removed.

Ahhh, thank you. I have been wading through all the links but not that one so far.

Shouldn't be necessary.

British Heart Foundation is one you can never get rid of....

This is interesting as I didn't have a problem getting off their lists. Not saying for a moment you haven't had a problem. What can't you get rid of - emails? magazines?

MujeresLibres · 03/11/2023 14:00

Scribble out your address, write 'Not known here, please return to sender' and pop it in a post box. Seasalt will have to pay double postage and they will remove you from the list.

That is what I have been doing, mentioned in my post.

Uncanny timing that I saw this post just as a catalogue arrived OP! I agree, I have just emailed them now to ask to be removed. Not holding out much hope however, as I have already emailed twice before ... It's encouraging to see that some people have had success with them, here's to third time lucky! Will definitely be trying the post it back trick as well.

WelshDaffodil · 06/11/2023 16:11

I was surprised to get one this morning - bought something recently and definitely don't remember signing up. Have also emailed.

MonumentalLentil · 06/11/2023 18:35

Could try here to stop the damn catalogues of badly fitting shite.

E.mails currently. However, my mother requested donations to them instead of flowers for her funeral. I sent off the money and was hounded for years even when I asked them to stop. In the end I got really annoyed and was no longer polite.

Seasalt seems to be the same. Buy one item and you are pestered forever.

It's Bam for me . They do however send me a free pair of socks now and again , so I guess silver linings !

MonumentalLentil · 06/11/2023 18:50

Sorry, something went wrong, my previous reply was regrading the British Heart Foundation, for @ThePeachIsSoUnusual

That's not so bad. But to ignore requests to leave people alone isn't good for business. I flatly refuse to buy anything because of this. Plus their bleeding indigo dye, I mean actual bleeding not the fact it is a pain. Which it is. An expensive one.
