Where did this lolly wrapper come from?

I just went upstairs and in the middle of my bedroom floor was a Halloween chocolate lolly wrapper. I live alone, have never eaten this type of lolly before, do shoes off in the house so it hasn't come off the bottom of a shoe. Window was open but only about 1-2cm so not wide enough to let rubbish blow through. Where on earth has it come from? Nobody been to my house for weeks.

Blown in in high wind

I found something similiar in the middle of my kitchen floor the other day. Was completely baffled for ages.

A couple of days later I saw a bird drop a wrapper from it's beak into the air. It fluttered very near my kitchen doors and could easily have flown in. Could it be that?

Dropped off the bottom of your shoe?

LifesADance · 03/11/2023 11:41

I’d presume it’s had stuck to your clothing and fell off later in your bedroom. I wouldn’t give it another thought.

Probably this - it was stuck to your clothes or bag.

Obviously a ghosts with cravings for lollipops!!!
I mean, it was Halloween candy after all, share with the ghosts 😝
I can be anything, was in the “bottom” of a pocket and it felt off, blown in high winds, and bird was passing with it on its beak, if you have kids, you have your culprit, any mascots?

MrsSkylerWhite · 03/11/2023 11:46

A greedy ghost. Could have left the actual lolly for you.

HardcoreLadyType · 03/11/2023 11:47

Spooky! 👻

FrangipaniBlue · 03/11/2023 11:59

Bottom of your shoe or handbag.

Scalottia · 03/11/2023 12:17

People saying bottom of shoe - did you even bother to read the OP?

Wind (if strong enough it could have blown in I suppose, even if window only open 1-2cm), but more likely your handbag or something else.

Or a chocolate lolly loving ghost! 👻

Peachtoiletpaper · 03/11/2023 12:18

You've not got a cat or dog have you? Could have got stuck to its paw

I was walking round with a label from an item of clothing I don’t own in my hair the other day 😂 I’m not sure how it got there/stuck (not the sticky type… the label or my hair!) but it dropped to the floor in my kitchen and thoroughly freaked me out. I thought it was a spider!
