Halloween 2022 DD and I went to a Halloween event for young teens. There was also a funfair there with some waltzers that were being spun very fast. DD desperate to go on them with me. I finally gave in but asked the young lad in charge to please not spin us. Yes you've guessed it, for the whole duration of the ride he spun us as fast as he could. I felt really sick and dizzy and I had to wait around 5 mins before I could actually stand up to get off the ride. I glared at him as I got off and felt really ill for the rest of the evening.
For my job I work with teenagers and have just started working with one young lad. I asked him today what he got up to over the half term. He says he worked at the Halloween funfair. On the waltzers. As he did last year. Yes, I have come face to face with my tormentor. I told him that he was probably the person who nearly killed me a year ago and he thought it was really funny. Thing is he's a really nice boy but he said if someone asks him not to spin them he'll just do it even more!
